Classified advertisements have a default archive period. Classifieds will still be saved on the admin side and available through Content> Classifieds, but will not be shown on the website after their archive date. The default archive period is three months on new StarChapter sites.
Classifieds submitted through the front end can be added to any selected category. The categories are managed below. Classified ads can be shown in the newsletter and/or in the newsletter e-mails by altering the respective templates. The newsletter page template can be modified via Content > Edit Templates > Newsletter (View Templates) > Newsletter Page Outer. The newsletter e-mail template can be modified via Communications > Settings > Templates.
Categories
Categories allow the classifieds to be divided. Once categories have been set up, you can add a classified section to a page and have it set to show only ads in a selected category.
Sponsors
General
Sponsor images are automatically resized to a maximum width. Any images that are narrower than the maximum width will not be affected. This makes the sponsor graphics more uniform. Note that the resizing happens when the images are uploaded. If the maximum width is changed, this will not affect sponsor graphics that were already uploaded, only new ones.
Sponsor image rotators (that may be placed on the home page or other pages to cycle through sponsor graphics) may be linked either to the sponsor's website or to the built-in sponsor page.
