StarChapter is a member-friendly and secure software service. We support a wide range of browsers, based on popularity, customer usage, and commercially acceptable best practices for browser security and vendor support.
On the Front-End of the service, StarChapter supports the following desktop browsers: the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer versions 10 and 11 (both 32- and 64-bit). StarChapter also supports Safari on iOS platforms for mobile users. In the future, StarChapter plans to support the latest Safari desktop browser as well as Android for mobile users.
In the Admin Area of the service, StarChapter supports the following desktop browsers: the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer versions 10 and 11 (both 32- and 64-bit). In the future, StarChapter plans to support the latest Safari desktop browser as well as Safari on iOS platforms and Android for mobile users.
Plug-ins, Extensions and Scripting
Occasionally, browser extensions and plug-ins may
interfere with scripts on pages. If you are experiencing issues with your browser, first try to disable your extensions, add-ons, and plug-ins to see if one of these is the cause. Learn here how to manage your browser settings.
JavaScript must be enabled in your browser and script blockers turned off. StarChapter’s interface uses JavaScript in many areas.
Internet Explorer
Please note that Microsoft has both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows and Internet Explorer. Windows and Internet Explorer should both use the same version - that is, either both 32-bit, or both 64-bit. You may experience issues if these don’t match.
